Annie Man spends millions on her shotgun marriage
Annie Man married 35 year old businessman (Jason Lee) after dating for 3 years. Last night, the newly weds held a 28 table wedding reception at the Four Seasons Hotel inviting family and friends. The marriage registration ceremony was also held at the reception. Annie and her husband invested 7 figures for this wedding! Many of Annie's good friends from the industry attended including Kenix Kwok and her husband Frankie Lam, Alice Chan, Pinky Cheung, Timmy Hung, Eric Tang and many more. TV Queen Charmaine Sheh, Janet Chow, Angela Tong, Emily Kwan and Sherming Yiu were part of the group of 9 bridesmaid. The groomsmen were all from outside of the industry.
At the banquet, Annie and her husband cut the wedding cake hand-in-hand and peck each other on the lips, a very sweet and loving couple. Annie also conveniently showed off her 2 carat diamond ring and announced the 'double happiness' while she was at it. Annie said: "We successfully made a baby! Earlier we were afraid it would be sensitive for the baby, so didn't say it yet, but now its over 3 months, I can happily tell you all that I'm pregnant!" Middle-aged Annie laughed and said she is in a hurry, so she's going to get married and have a baby at the same time: "Didn't you all (reporters) notice that I'm always using the flower bloquet to cover my stomach? My husband wants to have 4-5 children, but I think it's enough to have a boy and a girl!" Since Annie has a love for beauty, she insisted on wearing 5-inch heels despite her pregnancy: "There will be someone by myself where ever I go. (What happens when you make a toast?) Pretend to drink it!"
Cancels the 'pickup bride' tradition
Annie's husband was asked how he's going to reward his wife for the 'double happiness'? Jason said: "Love her more!" Annie sweetly said: "When we first started dating, he already asked me if I liked children. If at the time, I answered I didn't like children, then I think he would have dumped me, haha!" She also expressed they will just be going to Southeast Asia for their honeymoon, since she's afraid she won't be able to physically handle anything further. Yesterday morning, she also cancelled the 'pickup bride' part of the wedding, but the 'playing the groom' already happened at the bachelor's party. She laughed: "Tonight my bridesmaid said they will play the groom again, we will take all our safety measures!" Jason immediately added: "I'm really afraid of Annie's bridesmaids, they are not to be messed with!" When Annie heard the groom 'praised' Angela for being the most fierce when playing, Annie exposed that Angela's the most clever team member and she'll be taking revenge on her when Angela gets married: "Angela should be getting married right after I have my baby, so it's not too late!"
Angela Tong tells Chin Kar Lok to propose
Angela exposed that because she drank expired coffee, she got a little 'crazy'. She was asked about when she's getting married, and stole much of the bride's limelight. When asked about her caught on an early honeymoon in Singapore with Chin Kar Lok? Angela denied that it was an advance honeymoon: "Kar Lok had to work there, so I took a few days off to go with him!"
When asked if she minds being like Annie 'bringing the ball along to marry' (pregnant at marriage)? She changed the subject: "I'm happy for her. (What do you think?) It's hard to say, I don't know!" When speaking of Chin Kar Lok saying that he'll marry her the year after next? Angela sweetly said: "I've been questioned closely since my return. (Working on it?) Nope, nothing started. (Getting married the year after next?) Well tell him to propose first, he didn't even propose yet! (No protection before marriage?) Huh? If going to have children, why not just make money!"
Charmaine Sheh dashes off, avoiding Kevin Cheng questions

Annie Man to Get Married in March 2012!

In 2008, Annie Man (文頌嫻) was photographed by the paparazzi passionately kissing a man named Jason in a car. Last Thursday, Annie and Jason were spotted on Thursday trying out wedding dresses in the Tsim Sha Tsui district. The couple will be getting married on March 2, 2011 at the Four Seasons Hotel!
Thirty-five-year-old Annie Man possessed a very low key manner. That year, Annie had broken up with her architect boyfriend of 10 years, after which she did not actively look for another relationship. It was not until November 2008 that Annie was spotted kissing a 30-something man (Jason) in a suit in a $500,000 HKD black Mercedes Benz car.
Last Thursday, Annie and Jason were spotted window shopping. Before long, the couple entered a bridal shop, upon which the sales clerks immediately greeted them. It appeared that Annie and Jason had an appointment to try on their wedding attire. Annie changed into a sexy backless bridal dress, which sparked the admiration of everyone present, including Jason’s fixated stare. Afterward, Jason tried on his tuxedo for the wedding. The couple loving fixed each others’ attire.
In a telephone interview, Annie admitted that she and Jason were getting married. Asked whether she was currently pregnant, thus sparking the wedding, Annie laughed and said, “No! But if that were the case, then it was too early to confirm the pregnancy! I am trying to get married before Janet Chow (周家蔚) and Sherming Yiu (姚樂怡)!”
Annie revealed that she has been dating businessman, Jason, for 3 years. Their relationship was very stable. “In fact, we had planned to get married at the end of last year, but we were unable to work out the schedule. After seeing many friends getting married recently, I took a more active role in planning our wedding.”
Annie’s bridesmaids will include Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) 、Angela Tong (湯盈盈)、Janet Chow (周家蔚) and Sherming Yiu (姚樂怡). Asked whether she will retire from the entertainment industry after marriage, Annie replied, “No, but I will reduce my workload, as I want to have a baby.”
Annie Man was once a rising star at ATV. In 2000, after switching to TVB, she was heavily utilized until TVB’s policy of promoting only contracted artists was administered. Annie turned her career to mainland China, fading from the Hong Kong television circle. After breaking up with her architect boyfriend, Annie met Jason at cousin’s social gathering. When the press photographed Annie and Jason kissing in the car, the couple had just started dating. It was unexpected that their single kiss had locked their love!
